Terms & Conditions

Version 1.0. Effective from 15th October 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you (the Customer) and CA Automation Hub, proprietor Poonam, Gurugram, Haryana,122001 India (we, us), for the software product Tally Automate Excel Workbook (the Software). By ticking the box at checkout and paying, you accept these terms, the Refund & Cancellation Policy, the Privacy Policy and the Support Policy.

About the Software 

The Software is a Microsoft Excel workbook with macros. It helps you prepare accounting entries in Excel and post them to Tally Prime running on your own computer. It is a separate product. It is not made, sold, approved or endorsed by Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. "Tally" and "Tally Prime" belong to their owners.

Licence

When we confirm your payment we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Software for your own business during the licence term shown on your invoice (1 months from the date of purchase unless your plan says otherwise), on the number of computers your plan allows (one computer unless stated). You receive a licence, not ownership. We own the Software.

Activation and checks

You activate the Software with your licence key and registered email. The licence is tied to your computer. The Software checks your licence online from time to time. If you are offline it keeps working for a grace period (currently 7 days). If you change your computer, ask us to reset the activation. We do this free of charge up to 2 times in a licence term and may ask you to confirm that you own the licence.

What you must not do

•     Share, sell, rent, lend or publish your licence key or copies of the workbook.

•     Remove, bypass or tamper with licence checks, protection or branding.

•     Reverse engineer or copy the code, except where the law allows it.

•     Offer the Software to others as a service or resell it.

•     Use the Software after your licence has ended.

Your responsibilities

•     Use a properly licensed copy of Tally.

•     Take a Tally data backup before you post entries. Try new settings on a separate test company first.

•     Check the entries in Tally after posting. You are responsible for the data you enter and for your accounting, GST and other compliance. The Software does not give professional advice.

Price and payment

The price is shown at checkout in INR [(inclusive of applicable taxes)]. Payment is made through Razorpay. We do not see or store your card or UPI details. We email your licence key after payment is confirmed. There is no automatic renewal: we do not charge you again unless you buy again.

Updates and support

During the licence term you receive the updates we release (bug fixes and compatibility fixes) and support under our Support Policy. We do not promise that the Software will work with every future version of Excel or Tally Prime.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Data and privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect. (Name, email, mobile number (optional), company name.) The Software sends your accounting entries only to the TallyPrime installed on your computer. The licence check sends only your licence key, email, a computer identifier, the product, edition and version.

Intellectual property

All rights in the Software, its documentation and our name and logo remain with us. These terms do not give you any right to use our name or logo.

No warranty and limit of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Software is provided "as is". We do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for every need. We are not liable for loss of data, profit or business, or for indirect or consequential loss, including loss that results from posting entries to Tally. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Suspension and end

We may suspend or end a licence if you break these terms, if a payment is reversed or charged back, or after a refund. You may stop using the Software at any time. When the licence ends the Software stops approving new postings. Data already in your Tally is not affected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. A new version applies to new purchases and renewals. We publish the version number and date on this page.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction. Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve any problem.
